ARTIE ERFURT, owner of Quality Ironworks, began installing gate opening devices in the late 1980’s. He soon realized that mass produced operators were over rated by the manufacturer, so he took it upon himself to design and fabricate a unit that would hold up to the types of gates his company was building. In 1990 the first QI300 operators were put in place and soon became a success story. Never retailing the units, they are only installed by Quality Ironworks. Understanding that every customer’s needs are different, Quality Ironworks will also install major manufactured brand operators.
